The Collins Companies are deeply engaged with the American Supply Association, the national trade organization representing the PHCP-PVF (plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, and valves) distribution industry.

Our leadership team has played an active role at the highest levels of ASA:

• Brian Tuohey, Founder, has served as ASA President and held leadership roles within the Industrial Piping Division. The company has also received multiple ASA industry awards, reflecting long-standing involvement and impact.

• Paul Andruszkiewicz, Executive Vice President, served as President of the Industrial Piping Division in 2024, helping unite independent distributors to address key topics such as AI, workforce development, and evolving distribution strategies.

• Kala McDonald, President & CEO, served as President of ASA’s Women in Industry Division in 2022, helping grow membership from 100 to more than 400—the fastest-growing division within ASA. She currently sits on the ASA Executive Committee.

• Toni Wall, Director of Market Development, serves on the Women in Industry Board and the Talent Development Task Force, supporting initiatives that promote future careers in the supply industry through programs like SupplyIndustryCareers.com.

We are committed not only to participating in our trade association, but to leading it—advocating for meaningful progress at the national level and in Washington to help our customers get their jobs done.

We are also a member of Affiliated Distributors (AD), one of North America’s largest and most respected buying groups. AD connects independent distributors with best-in-class manufacturers, creating a powerful network built on collaboration, scale, and shared success.

Collins Compressors is a proud member of the Association of Independent Compressor Distributors, a national organization dedicated to advancing safe best practices, technical excellence, and continuing education within the compressor industry.

Our Division Lead, Bob Copell, currently serves as a Director on AICD’s national executive board, reinforcing our commitment to leadership and industry advancement.

National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors — VR Stamp

Through our valve repair division, International Valve & Instrument (IVI), The Collins Companies hold a National Board VR Certification (Stamp #179) for pressure relief valve testing and repair—demonstrating our compliance with the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical expertise.
