Conservation vents minimize evaporation losses by controlling pressure and vacuum in a storage tank’s vapor space. As liquid levels or temperatures change, the vent automatically opens or closes to relieve excess pressure or vacuum.
Each unit is factory-set to specific pressure/vacuum settings using weighted or spring-loaded pallets. Once conditions return to normal, the pallets reseal to maintain a safe operating range and prevent emissions.
