Meet Eliza Copell

Where were you born?

I was born in New Britain, CT

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Canton, CT

Can you give me the basics of your career background? Education, years in the industry, years with Collins, etc.

I started off my education journey majoring in Sociology at Keene State College, transferred to CCSU during the pandemic, and ended up graduating from SNHU with a Bachelor's in Communication. I have been at Collins since October of 2022.

What's your favorite part about working in the pvf industry?

Prior to Collins, I had little knowledge of the PVF/Compressor industry aside from what I had learned growing up. My favorite part is learning more and being able to see and understand how crucial this industry is and how it operates.

What kind of passions do you pursue outside of work?

I am very passionate about music and love going to concerts/festivals. I am also very passionate about traveling and love exploring all of the places that the world has to offer.

What was your most favorite/least favorite trip and why?

My most favorite trip was probably when I went to India in 2017. It was such a life changing experience that not only taught me so much about myself, but so much about the world around me. There are many experiences from that trip that I will never forget, especially being able to visit the Taj Mahal.
