Available in a wide range of standard configurations, they can also be customized to accommodate demanding conditions, including large movements, high temperatures and pressures, and specialized media requirements.
The Type “IS” Gland-Pak is designed for installations with limited circumferential space where guided movement is required. It uses a graphite rope gland packing that can be adjusted or fully replaced in-line, eliminating the use of flake graphite and preventing particulate contamination of the process media.
The “RJ” Ram-Pak Slip-Type absorbs thermal expansion and allows repacking under full line pressure through external Ram-Pak pistons with quarter-turn valves, using both flake graphite and graphite rope packing for secure sealing.
